Avalon 1 villa is located in Emba Village. Emba is a traditional Cypriot village, a peaceful and quiet area. It is one of the largest villages of Paphos. It is spread over a wide area that borders Paphos and the villages of Mesogi, Tremithousa, Tala, Kissonerga and Chloraka. It is said that the name Emba means "enter", it is possible that the name was given because it is built at the entrance of Paphos which is the edges of the city, through which the travellers from the north, northwest and west came in. In the centre of the village, you will find a new Greek Orthodox Church built near the old one. The church is dedicated to the apostle Andreas (St. Andrew) and on his name day, 30th November, the village holds a religious festival within the church grounds. The town is charming with winding roads and lemon, orange and nectarine groves. Agriculture is the main industry of the area and as well as citrus fruits there are also peaches.
Emba has a few shops and tavernas dotted along the narrow winding road through the village. In the evening the local men can be seen sitting outside and often spilling out onto the narrow streets on their wooden chairs. The bonus to choosing Emba is that you can drive to Chloraka or Paphos Old Town in minutes to find all the necessary amenities such as supermarkets, shops, banks, pharmacies, petrol stations, and tavernas and bars for entertainment.
You will find the open-plan dining and lounge area as you enter the property. The lounge offers comfortable sofas, wireless internet and a flat-screen TV.
Adjacent to this living and dining area you will find a fully equipped kitchen offering a fridge/freezer, oven, cooker, kettle, toaster, extractor hood, microwave, plates, forks, spoons, knives, pots, pans, tea and coffee cups, water and wine glasses and everything you need for a self-catering holiday. The dining area features a dining table and chairs comfortably seating 6.
From the open plan living and dining area, the glass sliding doors lead the way to the outside area of this villa. The terrace area is equipped with garden chairs and a table. The swimming pool is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas so you can enjoy a lazy day in the Cypriot sun. You will also find a modern furnished bedroom with a double bed and guest bathroom on the ground floor. To the front of the villa, you will discover uncovered parking for up to 2 cars.
Moving to the next floor, you will find three more spacious bedrooms with ample wardrobe space and a family bathroom. One is a master bedroom with a double bed and own bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms offer double beds and twin beds respectively. Each bedroom has access to a balcony with a view of the countryside or a pool. The washing machine is placed on the same floor in the hall.
Each bedroom and living area has an air conditioning unit for cooling and heating. The villa offers private parking. A marble stair leads to the rooftop where you can sunbathe on the lounge and enjoy a panoramic view.
All bedding, bath towels, beach towels, hairdryer, iron board and iron are supplied. Electricity and Wi-Fi are included.
